Associate Attorney

Kathryn B. Reddy

At The Linley Jones Firm, P.C., Kate works hard each day to advocate for clients, providing the kind of top-tier representation for which the firm is known. A born lawyer, middle child, and only girl in a family of five, Kathryn Reddy grew up negotiating to keep the peace, inspiring her to become an attorney.

New England native Kathryn ‘Kate’ Reddy started college by attending Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont in 2007.  By her junior year, Kate was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare practice management consulting.  She moved to New York City and began working with doctors in New York, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maine, Florida, Colorado, and Georgia.

Kate’s healthcare experience helped her develop a knowledge and understanding of the modern healthcare system, which she navigates with ease when advocating for clients. Together with her extensive wilderness medical training and the knowledge she picked up growing up with doctors for parents, working in healthcare helped Kate develop an above-average understanding of the mechanics of the human body, making her well-suited to advocate effectively for injured clients.  Kate uses these skills to negotiate settlements and lien reductions on behalf of clients.

Between consulting contracts, Kate pursued her love of the sea and became a PADI-certified scuba instructor; teaching in Honduras and Florida.  In 2015, Kate earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business Administration and History from Green Mountain College. Immediately after, Kate entered Georgia State University College of Law in pursuit of her childhood dream of becoming an attorney.  Kate completed law school a semester early, and graduated cum laude from GSU Law in December 2017.

While in law school, Kate became a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and worked as a mediator in Fulton County Magistrate Court. As a mediator, Kate helped adverse parties work together to resolve active litigation matters. Kate’s experience as a mediator helped hone the advocacy and negotiation skills she now puts to work for clients of The Linley Jones Firm, PC.
